FOR THOSE WHO DON’T HAVE MY NUMBER CARD
IRUMA CITY TO ISSUE CARDS TO CONFIRM ELIGIBILITY
OF NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE
Due to the introduction of the MY number card as a health insurance card, basically people should link their MY Number card to health insurance eligibility and use it as a health insurance card. Although the current health insurance card is valid until the expiration date on the card, most of the National Health Insurance cards expire at the end of July. Iruma City will send by registered mail a new card to confirm the eligibility (資格確認書shikaku kakunin-sho), which looks like the current Insurance card, to the citizens who are members of the National Health Insurance and do not have MY number card. Those who do have a MY number card but have not had the card linked to health insurance eligibility will also receive a new card. This eligibility confirmation card can be used just the same as old health insurance cards at the reception of clinics/hospitals.
Those who have an eligibility-linked MY number card will receive an Eligibility Notification by regular mail.
